20 things I have learnt from High School Musical

My favorite TV movie is High School Musical. I am so thankful that my best friend introduced this amazing and inspiring movie to me. And I have learnt a lot in HSM. I am going to list out the 20 things that I have learnt.

1.   Come out from your comfort zone and be brave. You only live once!

2.   Fully enjoy yourself once you get into something you love.

3.   Your past, your failure are not the things that stuck you and not to let you move on.

4.   Grab your opportunities and do the best you can.

5.   There are always different groups/ societies at school. Some of them are popular, that everyone would love to join in. Some of them are not, and only got small influence to school.

6.   Not to just focus on one interest. There are lots of things that you can enjoy and learn. Learn more, and you will gain more.

7.   Spend more time and effort on the things you are passionate about.

8.   Singing is one of the ways to express feelings.

9.    Not to feel scared of getting on stage to perform.

10. Say what you want to say without hesitation.

11. Parent will always worry about their son/daughter.

12. If others misunderstand you, try to ignore them and believe in yourself. If you don’t believe in yourself, no one does.

13. Your friends will support what you want to do, but not tearing you down.

14. Be happy all the time. It is easier for you to do things successfully.

15. People, who are not confident to win, would try to use their power to prevent others to win.

16. Even though we are not the same group or same community, but we can still get along well.

17. Everyone needs to do reflection, review the things they do wrong, and improve themselves.

18. To parents: Please do not put too much expectation on your son/ daughter. They are independent entities and have their own thinking. Just let them to decide their paths.

19. You don’t need a ton of friends that actually don’t understand you.

20. We are all in this together.
